The training program is organized by the EUI Centre for a Digital Society on behalf of United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF). Over 6 weeks, the course explores UNICEF’s data protection rules and best practices, comparing them with the privacy rules followed by other international organisations as well as with international regulations on data protection, such as EU General Data Protection Regulation.
Data protection champions, data protection by design and default, data subjects’ requests and data security are among the key topics addressed in the course.
The course takes place online, via the dedicated EUI training platform. The program includes weekly live classes, group exercises, background readings and materials.
The course is tailor-made for UNICEF, and it is open only to UNICEF staff. For further information concerning CDS tailored-made courses, please contact Elisabetta Spagnoli.
